The year 2022 is officially in the history books. A recent poll found that just 37% of Americans thought it was “a good year.” But 100% of people at Spire believe it was exceptional. For the agency, it was a record-breaking year for awards, client successes, new accounts, and agency growth. We even welcomed a new Spire baby.
Before we officially bid farewell to the Chinese Year of the Tiger, it seems only fitting to take a final look at some of the top headlines and best moments of the year.
The Dallas Business Journal once again named Spire Agency to its annual Book of Lists, recognizing top North Texas advertising and marketing firms ranked by local employment. Of the 137 agencies eligible for this most recent list, Spire landed at the #20 spot of largest Dallas-Fort Worth firms.
As the 2022 awards season began, Spire received seven platinum-level awards from the AVA Digital Awards. The AVA is an international competition that recognizes excellence by creative professionals responsible for planning, concepting, designing, writing, and producing digital communication.
Spire was the night’s fourth most-awarded agency with nine awards at the 60th annual AAF Dallas ADDYs. The show is the first level of the three-tiered American Advertising Awards.

The DSVC consists of designers, writers, photographers, illustrators, broadcast producers, and the many vendors and suppliers who support them. It seeks to elevate the standard of creative industries and the value that creative professionals add to the commerce and the community at large.
Spire received a Silver award in the category of Branded Content/Corporate Image Video at the 43rd Annual Telly Awards, the world’s largest honor for video and television content across all screens.
Spire became the only firm in North Texas to receive a prestigious national ADDY from the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The American Advertising Awards were held in Nashville as part of ADMERICA, the AAF’s week-long national conference.
The 2022 Communication Arts (CA) Design Annual short-listed Spire in both the Self Promotion and Packaging categories.
