One of the country’s most awarded business-to-business branding agencies, Spire, recently launched a full brand refresh of the nation’s largest independent full-line pharmaceutical distributor, Morris & Dickson (M&D).

The family-owned company began as a small-town apothecary in Shreveport back in 1841, and has since grown to a $4 billion company with over 30,000 SKUs delivered from their 12-acre, state-of-the-art distribution center. With over 181 years in business, M&D has continued to build on its reliable reputation, expanding their pharmacy delivery services across 19 states and counting.

Spire provided M&D with a modern brand refresh while keeping the company’s historic roots intact. The brand refresh included an updated logo, corporate business system, elevated website, enhanced social media, sales collateral, and a trade show booth that premiered at the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) national convention, and the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHPA) mid-year, both in Q4.

“This is an exciting time for our company,” says Jody Hatcher, Morris & Dickson’s Chief Executive Officer. “The new look and messaging of our brand truly elevates us and solidifies our company amongst the industry’s largest competitors.”

“We are so proud of the work we’ve done with Morris & Dickson. Having the opportunity to rebrand a company with such a long-standing reputation in the pharmaceutical distribution space was an honor for the agency,” says Kimberly Tyner, Partner and Chief Creative Officer at Spire.
