The State Bank of Texas, with locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Houston, and Chicago, has selected Spire Agency for marketing services, following a multi-agency review.
State Bank of Texas was founded in 1987 and is one of the country’s best-performing community banks. It has carved a unique niche in the banking industry as America’s largest community bank lender to the hospitality industry. The family-owned and operated bank is the product and vision of Chan Patel, immigrant and famed Dallas hotelier who opened his first hotel in 1976. Since 2004, its growth has orchestrated by a team led by his son, Sushil as President, his younger son Rajan (CLO), and Janna Blackwell Hayes (CFO and COO).
“We are incredibly excited about our new relationship with Spire,” says Janna, “Our bank is the best in its industry, and we believe Spire is the best in theirs as well.”
SBT has $1.25 billion in assets, has distributed more than $350 million in profits and maintains a book equity value of $190 million — all without ever raising another penny in capital.
Spire is Texas’ most-awarded B2B marketing agency, according to AAF Dallas and the D/FW Chapter of the American Marketing Association. The agency is also on the Clutch 1000 global list of Best B2B Agencies in the World, and was also named to the even more exclusive Clutch 100 list for both Fastest Growth and Sustained Growth. The agency went on to be named to B2B Marketing’s Top 38 U.S. B2B Agencies and Marketing Round’s 12 Best Agencies You Should Know in 2020.
Work for SBT will include messaging and positioning, sales materials, employee communications, website, social media, and many other communications as the company expands its footprint.
“State Bank of Texas is a story of the American Dream,” says Steve Gray, Partner and Chief Operations Officer at Spire. “We look forward to telling the story of the Patel family and the difference they make to aspiring hoteliers across the country.”
