It was an extremely successful night for Spire at the 61st Annual AAF Dallas ADDYs awards on March 1st. With an impressive nine ADDYs, AAF District 10’s most-awarded B2B agency was also the night’s third most-awarded agency, taking home one Gold, five Silver, two Bronze, and the coveted Extreme Makeover award.
This was the second year in a row that Spire took home the Extreme Makeover award, a special ADDY given for the most significant changes made on behalf of a brand. Spire’s work for Morris & Dickson was named the 2023 Extreme Makeover winner for the rebranding of the 182-year-old pharmaceutical distributor. The work included a new logo, business system, website, social media, trade show booth, wearables and sales enablement. Spire’s work for Kr8om was the 2022 winner for the Extreme Makeover award.
The American Advertising Awards, affectionately known as “The ADDYs,” are the largest advertising awards program in the United States that celebrates creativity and excellence in advertising. A jury of advertising peers from around the nation judged the local competition, determining who received the honor of Gold, Silver, and Bronze ADDYs.
“It’s a huge accomplishment to receive this prestigious award two years running,” said Principal and EVP of Client Service and Planning Mike Stopper. “It’s proof of our consistency in elevating B2B brands and having an extreme impact on our clients’ businesses.”
AAF Dallas was founded in 1908, and is the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation—the “unifying voice” of the 40,000 professionals in our nation’s advertising industry. The Dallas ADDYs are the first step in a three-tiered competition that culminates in the national American Advertising Awards this summer. It is our industry’s largest creative competition, with over 35,000 professional and student entries each year.
