The District-level competition of the American Advertising Awards is complete, and Spire, AAF District 10’s most-awarded B2B agency, has garnered two prestigious ADDY awards.
The Tenth District of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) includes local chapters from Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. The district competition comprised all Gold and Silver awards from the 14 local chapter competitions held in February and March.
AAF Dallas had 12 agencies recognized with 24 total awards at the AAF District 10 competition, the most of any club in District 10. Spire was the recipient of two of those awards: a Silver for Card/Invitation/Announcement Campaign, and a second Silver for Package Design, both for the Slacktoberfest event for the law firm of Slack Davis Sanger. The agency was one of just four Dallas shops to win multiple District awards. This is also the second year in a row that Spire was a multi-award winner at the competitive District level.
With two awards, Spire was the third most-awarded Dallas agency at this year’s District competition. The District show is the second step in a three-tiered competition that culminates into the national American Advertising Awards this June in St. Louis. It is our industry’s largest creative competition with over 35,000 professional and student entries each year from 15 different Districts across the United States.
“It is an honor to be recognized for the second year at the District level,” said Kimberly Tyner, partner and chief creative officer. “It’s proof that our B2B work stacks up against the best work, of any kind, across our four-state area.”
The two District 10 awards continued the strong, nine-award showing that Spire made at the local show in March.
The American Advertising Federation (AAF), headquartered in Washington, D.C., the “unifying voice” of the 40,000 professionals in our nation’s advertising industry and the oldest national advertising trade association in the United States. The AAF also has 15 district operations, 200 local federations, and more than 200 AAF college chapters, with over 6,500 student members.
