Spire is proud to be recognized by AAF Dallas with four American Advertising Awards, honoring work that reflects our commitment to thoughtful strategy, strong design, and meaningful client partnerships. Of the four awards, Spire received one Silver ADDY and three Honorable Mentions.

The American Advertising Awards, or “The ADDYs,” are the largest advertising awards in the United States that celebrate creativity and excellence in advertising. A jury of advertising peers from around the nation judged the local competition, determining recipients of Gold and Silver ADDYs, as well as Honorable Mention distinctions.

Spire’s work for Ophthalmic Mutual Insurance Company (OMIC) earned two awards. The winning work was for a 20-page Member’s Report that was designed and produced by Spire. This flagship piece serves as a key communication to its members, reflecting the organization’s stability, purpose, and stewardship. For the latest edition, the goal was to modernize the report’s look and feel, moving away from dated layouts and generic stock imagery toward a more cohesive, contemporary visual expression of the brand. The entire report was awarded a Silver ADDY for Printed Annual Report and an Honorable Mention in the Brochure category.

Additionally, Spire was recognized for one of its own initiatives: alongside its annual winter coat donation, the agency developed and sent a custom holiday card to clients, partners, and supporters, sharing that a donation had been made in their honor.

The four-panel “The Spire Workshop” 2025 holiday card brought the initiative to life through thoughtful, custom illustration. The front of the card depicts the exterior of the workshop with a subtle glimpse of coats inside, while the back reveals the workshop in full swing. Playful vignettes show Spire teammates doing what makes them unique: Jason carrying his daily two mugs of coffee, Luke presenting on how to make a warm coat, Katie editing a client podcast beside her space heater, and other fun team rituals. The holiday card was awarded two Honorable Mentions, one for Special Event Materials (Printed or Digital) and one for Illustration.

“We’re grateful to collaborate on work that not only looks great, but carries real meaning—both for our clients and our community,” said Creative Director Jason James.

AAF Dallas was founded in 1908 and is the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation—the “unifying voice” of the 40,000 professionals in our nation’s advertising industry. The Dallas ADDYs are the first step in a three-tiered competition that culminates into the national American Advertising Awards this summer. It is our industry’s largest creative competition with over 35,000 professional and student entries each year.
