The 28th annual Viddy Awards released its winners list in June. Spire submitted five entries and received awards for all.

The work was for two TrinityRail campaigns. First up, “Delivering Goods for the Good of All,” garnered three Platinum awards and one Gold for special effects/animation, corporate image, and overarching campaign. Second, “Innovative Solutions: Solving Business Matters” received a Platinum award for short-form video/corporate image.

This was the second time Spire entered work into the Viddy Awards; the first landed a Gold for an animated Trinsight® video from TrinityRail in 2021.

“The Viddy Awards is a prestigious show,” said Chief Creative Officer Kimberly Tyner. “We are thrilled to have our video work awarded by their program, especially for a long-standing B2B client.”

Founded in 1995 by a group of videographers, editors, producers, writers, and directors in Dallas, Texas, the Viddy Awards was originally known as the Videographer Awards; the name change better reflected video’s constantly changing technology, platforms, and uses. The organization’s sole mission is to honor excellence in all aspects of video production.

Over the years, the Viddy Awards has become one of the largest competitions in the history of film and video, with more than 50,000 entries from 100+ countries.

Entrants include video production companies, advertising and public relations firms, corporate communication departments, cable and broadcast television operations, government agencies and schools, among other organizations.

The Viddy Awards is judged by senior-level, experienced professionals within the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). Founded by a group of communications professionals in 1995, AMCP exists to honor outstanding achievement and service to the communications profession.
